and Orator
Churchill was one of the most inspiring people in the whole history of mankind. His leadership in 1940 was a major factor in Hitler's Nazi forces being thwarted in their attempt to conquer Europe. In 1946 his warnings of the Soviet intent to take over Western Europe were scorned but as often with his predictions he was proven right and the formation of NATO owed much to his leadership. His life, achievements, and philosophy are still highly pertinent in the 21st Century.
Not surprising that someone as notable a figure as Winston Churchill would be the target of revisionist opinions. However of late some have become vicious and downright nasty
- as well as being untrue.
